Get Ready With Me: Backstreet Boys Style

I forgot how much I love just listening to music and getting ready to go somewhere.

This look is really simple, yet really pretty, and I think looks gorgeous on people with blue eyes!

The products I used in order of use are:
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
Maybelline's Limited Edition Color Tattoos in Rich Mahogany and Gold Shimmer
NAKED Palette; Colors Dark Horse and Virgin
Be A Bombshell Eyeliner in Onyx
Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara
Clinique High Lengths Mascara
Neutrogena Healthy Skin in Nude
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20
Coastal Scents Camo Quad in Light
NARS Bronzer in Laguna
Benefit's Hervana Blush
MAC Superb
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater

This is basically my everyday routine, minus the eyeshadow part which is interchangeable.

Anyways, if you guys want to see it step by step, watch the video here!:

Cute face as the thumbnail hey?

YEAHHH. That's what happens when you forget to take pictures after videos.
I'm the WORST with that.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy. Please give me suggestions for future videos!

7 Deadly Sins Of Beauty TAG!

Hey girl, hey!
How are you? How are the kids? The dog? Good? GOOD!

I thought I'd do yet another TAG video because...well, I love talking I suppose!
This one is the 7 deadly sins of beauty TAG!

The questions are:
1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

I tag you all to do this video as well! I know I had a blast doing it!!

HUGE Haul; I Am A Hoarder.

What did that even mean? Who knows.
Yes, I have yet another ridiculous haul, I'd actually be willing to bet that this may be one of the biggest hauls to ever haul in the haul history of haulville. Ya know? ;)

There were a ton of things I've been wanting for awhile, that seemed to have amazing deals go on, so I went a little crazy and filmed a video after I got most of my shipments in!

Watch it here, and these swatches and pictures below will make a little more sense!:

So, as I mentioned in the video, my Sephora shipment didn't come yet, so I wanted to upload this until it did so I could add the proper pictures. Because, I'm oh so proper.

Here's what was in my purtty package!

First, I got Benefit's Hervana blush, I have no blushes by them, and this one looked quite unique. I love the packaging, as always with Benefits products.

When swirled around in all the colors, you get a very pretty baby doll pink, with a little bit of shimmer to it. I cannot wait to try this out!

I think these purchases are the most exciting actually. This is the Urban Decay Super Saturated High Color Lip Gloss in F-Bomb. And oh.my.gosh. is it gorgeous. It's an intimidating color for me but it is so creamy, pigmented, and glossy as you can see below.

I'm not sure how I'll rock either color, but I can't wait to try!

This color is in Big Bang, it is just the most GORGEOUS bright, sparkly, pink. I've never seen anything like this color, ever.

Unfortunately the glitter isn't showing up too well here, but seriously, it is just beautiful. Totally worth the $19!! The glitter looks so beautiful on your lips and it is actually pretty wearable!

And then I got a free Lancome Mascara sample, yes free, I love you Sephora.
The one on the top is their Cils Booster XL, which is a mascara base.
Then the Hypnose Doll Lashes.
And the bottom is their Definicils High Definition Mascara.

Can't wait to try these, and they were free! Ahhhh!

Carrying on with the random swatches and pictures, this is the Maybelline Eyestudio in Olive Martini. As most of you probably know, this is part of their limited edition fall collection.

This quad is a must have, look at these colors!!

The two on the right are honestly worth the money in itself. Get your hands on this if you still can!

Then we have another Maybelline product. This is one of their Color Tattoos in Pomegranate Punk. It is a very pretty dark plum color. It's very creamy, and very pigmented.

Then we have the raged about, Wet N Wild palette in Petal Pusher. For $4.99, you can't go wrong with this palette. The colors are very pigmented and I know of two off the top of my head that a dupes for some MAC eye shadows. The only sad thing is the bottom glittery black broke a little on me already and made a HUGE mess!! :(

Of course it had to be the black one, right?

I decided to give one of my favorite beauty gurus, MakeupGeek, Marlena, some love. I wanted a bright blue cream eyeshadow, so I decided to buy their Jitterbug. I think these cream eyeshadow are just test products for now, but they are SUPER pigmented. The only thing is, there's almost so much pigmentation that they stain your skin a little bit. Maybe it's just this color though? However, it was super affordable at about $4.99!

Then I got some MAC Pigments from the MakeupGeek store as well, I thought this pigment would look really pretty over the cream eyeshadow, it's MAC's Reflects Turquatic

Here's a so-so picture of it over the cream shadow, GORGGGG!

Here's my most beloved pigment by MAC, Reflects Antique Gold, seriously my favorite makeup thing...ever.

And then lastly, MAC's Reflects Blackened Red. It would really look nice over the Pomegranate Punk Color Tattoo I swatched above, I think. You can get a ton of these samples on her site for under $5.00!! How can you go wrong?!

I heard so much about NYX'S Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, so I'm excited I finally have this!

I also heard a ton about this NYX product as well, it's their blush in Pinched, and is pretty similar to NARS' Orgasm, except almost more finely milled and prettier, whoa. That's a crazy thing for me to say..or type? I can't wait to try this blush out!!

Okay so then of COURSE, Urban Decay had to have a huge sale going on on their products so I got a lip gloss in Midnight Cowboy and The Ocho Loco 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil Set. Because I'm naughty.
From left to right the colors are Perversion, Stash, Hustle, LSD, Junkie, Rockstar, Mushroom, and Psychedelic Sister. These are full sizes for about half the price and SO creamy!! These are honestly the best eyeliners I have ever touched.

Here's a dupe for LSD (to the right) that I noticed after I swatched it and it is Stila's Smudge Stick in Bluefin (to the left). I think the Stila one is a little bit more blue though.

Then I picked up some stuff for MAC as well ;) hehe
From right to left, I got three Eye Kohl's in Prunella, Powersurge, and Tarnish.
All really pretty, but not as creamy as the Urban Decay Pencils. Prunella also looks a lot like Rockstar from Urban Decay that I swatched above.

Then I had to try the raved about MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul. It is a beautiful brownish pink with a lot of shimmer. It definitely wakes up your cheeks!

And the last swatch of this post is another MAC Sheertone Blush in Peachtwist. Which is a shimmery peachy pink color, a must have for any collection I think! I'm loving this color!

Okay so those are my swatches from this CRAZY HUGE HAUL.

Don't judge me okay? ;)

I hope you guys enjoyed it and if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

xoxo, Megs!

Nail Color Of The Week!

Today, I have on some of my gel nails by the company, Nailuv!

The color I'm wearing today is, Dashing Diva. I love the shine it gives my nails, and the fact that it lasts a little longer than most normal polishes. But not by that much.

Certain colors I have by this brand haven't been as opaque as I would have expected and they actually chip and peel off pretty quickly, even though I do everything I'm supposed to step by step. :(

If you guys have any suggestions, let me know!

Otherwise, I do love this color, I just don't like how easily they can peel off.

xoxo, Megs.

October's Ipsy Bag and Birchbox!

I thought it may be easier to do a joined blog post and video on these two rather than just doing two different ones each time.

AKA, it'll make my life easier, okay? ;)

If you'd rather just watch the video, then here it is!:

Soo, let's get into the Birchbox first, all swatches will be at the end!

First product: Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum

 Second product: Essie's Lady Like

 Third product: Jouer Lip Enhancer

Fourth product: Kiehl's Rosa Arctica Eye

And last, and definitely least, Luna's Lemonzest

Okay, so my impressions? The box was $10, I feel as though I just recieved about $10 worth of stuff. Not necessarily what I want out of a beauty box.

But, again, it is only $10. The Essie polish really saved this box in my opinion. It looks like a really nice light nude-ish purple. BUT, I DO NOT WANT FOOD! I hate that. That's not why people sign up for these things, well, at least not why I do. Do you?

I want beauty products Birchbox, okay?

SO, all in all, this box gets a B. Not wowed. But I will try each product, and if something wows me, I'll most likely do a review on it :)

Now onto my Ipsy Bag!

First product: Mirenesse Lip Bomb Glossy Lacquer Stain  in #4

Second product: Be A...Bombshell Eyeliner

Third product: Coastal Scents Eyeshadow Quad (Colors, right to left, top to bottom: Antique Lilac, Wisteria, Lemon Chiffon, and Raspberry Tart)

Fourth product: theBalm What's Your Type? "the body builder" Mascara

Fifth product: Pequil Oil Treatment

Now, this is what I want in a beauty bag/box! I want these kind of products. I think that's why I like Ipsy more, they give you more of those kind of things, and Birchbox can be kind of random.

I was really impressed with the eye shadows, I LOVE the eyeliner. I actually used it all day today and it stayed on amazingly well. I will be using this a ton.

I think this bag definitely gets an A. I also love how the company always changes up the bags they give out. I wish Birchbox would be a little more creative each month with their boxes. They're just so...boring.

Here are the swatches of the products that needed swatchin' ;)

So, as you can see, the products in the Ipsy bag were extremely pigmented.

The top swatches are the four eye shadows from the Coastal Scents Quad, then the black eyeliner, and then the Lip Bomb!

How did you guys like your bags/boxes??!

xoxo, Megan

Get Ready With Me!: Midnight Blue Smoky Eye & OOTN!

Are you guys looking for a quick smoky eye that's just a little different than the typical brown and black shadows? Well, before I went out this weekend, I filmed a quick video of how I decided to do my makeup when I'm going out for the night. I got a ton of compliments on this eye look. I also added what I'd wear on a casual night out as well.

What do you guys think? Do you guys like videos like the one below? Let me know! :) xoxo.
