MAC Haul! Happy Birthday To My Face!

Yes, I just celebrated my 23rd birthday and so I've been wanting to start a MAC palette for the longest time now, kind of figuring out what colors I really want and such. It finally came in the mail yesterday and I almost died!! So many eye shadows!!! And here they are all in their new home... ;)
Soooo pretty!! I'm in love, I also got a body oil from the Hey Sailor collection as well. Do you guys have any suggestions on colors to get? I'm interested in anything that will help make my blue eyes pop a little more and I'm just excited to make my MAC collection bigger now :)

June's Birchbox!

I feel like a broken record here because of my previous post about my MyGlam Bag, but wow, Birchbox also really, really, stepped it up this month. Wow, first off I got a little cologne sample from Birchbox Man, called John Varvatos, I'll be giving that to my boyfriend for sure. Also, not pictured, I got a cute leopard print Lifestyle Extra Tili Bag, which is just like a zip lock bag, perfect for traveling.

I got two Comodynes Self Tanning Intensive Towelettes, I love to self tan because I am very, very Irish and that's pretty much the only way I get some color ;).

Then I got a Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in Old Gold, LOVE this product, it is so creamy and beautiful, I swatched it below and tried it tonight all over the lid, it creased like crazy no matter what primer i used, but still a pretty color.

I got a Likewise Facial Moisturizer + Sun Protectant SPF 50, excited to try this as well, I love moisturizers as I stated in the previous post, I have yet to find a holy grail moisturizer, so the hunt continues...perhaps...hehe.

And lastly, I got a Stainiac in Beauty Queen by theBalm, also swatched below, it's very pretty, and definitely does stain the lips with a just bitten look. So VERY impressed, and I can't wait to try out all of these products!! xoxo.

June's MyGlam Bag!

Wow, wow, wow, was I impressed with this months MyGlam Bag, totally different from last months. 3 deluxe sized products and I am completely happy with each one. YAY MYGLAM!

As you can see in the first picture, they put the products in the cutest little bag yet! First off I got a Living Proof Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream, I have a ton of issue with frizz so I'm excited to try this! Then I got Philosophy's, Take A Deep Breath Oil-Free Energizing Oxygen Gel Cream Moisturizer (that was a mouth full). I'm in desperate need of finding a new moisturizer so also pumped to try this!

Then I got a NYX Round Lipstick in Iced Honey, a pretty simple shimmery baby pink, swatched below.

And lastly, I got a Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen, loooove felt eyeliner pens, this product will get lots of use out of me, also swatched below, it is pretty pigmented, but dries a little bit of a lighter black.

So all in all, YAY MYGLAM, again! Love everything and I'm glad they aren't being skimpy with their products this month, hopefully this will continue! Very well done.

Sleek Haul!

I've heard so much about Sleek Makeup lately, and since all of their products are so reasonably priced, I decided to give them a go and buy some of their products I've been lusting after!

The first product that I really, really wanted and heard a ton about was the Blush By 3 by them (the second picture shown above and first picture swatched below) starting from left to right the colors names are, Chantilly, Guipure, and Crochet.

Now these literally are by far the most pigmented blushes I have EVER touched, wow. I probably will have these for the rest of my life, so just beware when playing with them, they can make you go from normal to drag queen pretty quickly, haha. I suggest having a kabuki brush on hand, or use whatever sponge or brush you used for your foundation. Those will help tone down these pigmented blushes!

Then I bought a single blush called Flushed, (The last swatched picture below), I don't have any mauve colors like this so I thought it would be perfect to add to my ever expanding, makeup collection, hehe.

Then I thought I would try their Pout Polish in Powder Pink, it looked so cute, and smell and feel exactly like MAC's Tinted Lip Conditioners. And then, lastly, I got a free little lip gloss with my purchase that I think I'm going to add to my key chain.

Overall, I really recommend these products, they're highly pigmented, have amazing quality, and affordable to top it off. Couldn't be more impressed with Sleek Makeup! If only they had them in the stores here in the US! WAH! :)

Nail Color Of The Week!

Is there any better summer color than this one??! I don't think so, this color is Sun Worshiper by China Glaze. Now even though it has to be one of my most favorite colors I've ever bought, I do have one complaint, I'm not sure if it's just my nails or what, but this color chips pretty easily. Most neon colors chip pretty quickly on me as a matter of fact, but, I'll still be reaching for it a lot because it is just absolutely gorgeous and it makes my pale skin look like it has a little bit of color ;)

At this cheap price, you all must go out and get...like, yesterday!!

xoxo!

Happy Birthday To Me, From Sephora

I thought it was so cute that I got a card in the mail from Sephora again this year, especially because it was for two mini Sugar Lip Treatments. I've never tried the Rose one, but I do have two regular Sugar Lip Treatments. They both smell so good and Fresh ;). Plus the Rose color adds a perfect hue of red to the lip, I may actually buy a full size when I run out because I just love the color!

However, theses babies are quite expensive. They do do a great job at moisturzing my lips, but Carmax does the same thing for much, MUCH less!!

Either way, these little cuties while last me awhile, so thanks Sephora!

Lancome Color Design Review And Swatches

So I got this palette in Taupe Craze, the lid and highlighter shade were just too pretty to pass up and I honestly couldn't think of any other color close to them, although, I will not ever use the intended highlighter shade as a highlighter, it is way to shimmery for that in my opinion. My overall opinion is that these color are all really nice, blend well and such, but for almost $50, you're better off just buying the NAKED palettes, the colors are pretty much the same and you get more for your money. I was honestly thinking about returning this and may still, just because for $50, I want this to be a "can't live without" product and it was really, really, just okay.

But it does give you a really nice natural look, and it's perfect for those days where you don't want to look like you're trying too hard, yet you still look fab ;)

xoxo, Megs.
