April's Ipsy Bag & Birchbox

Okay, I know, I'm super late on filling you guys in with what I got this month in my Ipsy Bag and Birchbox, but better late than never? Right? Eh?

This month as you can see, Ipsy has yet again just hit it out of the park for me. They give full size MAKEUP and I just feel like is almost always worth the $10 every month. Before I filmed the video below, I didn't try any of the products but it's been a couple days since I filmed it and I've been using the blush they gave me nonstop! It just gives my cheeks such a pretty summer pinch to them. Which is why I subscribe to these services in the first place, to find new products I absolutely love.

However, Birchbox has really been slacking for me lately, each month I feel like I'm always on the brink of cancelling and this month is no different. I got so many samples as you can see in the video above. I get 3 samples about that size with every Sephora order, so at this point, if May isn't amazing, I'm cutting the cord on this one. I just feel taken advantage of and that they don't care about the awful products they are giving their clients, which isn't okay to me.

Would you guys be disappointed to see Birchbox go? Do you guys still like Birchbox? Any other subscriptions I should check out? Please let me know! Because I'm really done with Birchbox at this point.

Otherwise, I hope you guys are doing well, and hopefully I'll chit chat again with you beautiful gals soon :)

Empties #2!

Hey ladies and gents! 

Or maybe not so much gents, haha.

Long, loooong time since I've posted on here AGAIN and I blame..., um, everyone else but me because I'm a stubborn brat.

That seems easier. Anyways, I've recently realized I should have a sufficient amount of garbage collected for another empties video, which will now be the second on I've made on the good ole YouTube.

I love these videos just because, it shows not only what you've been purchasing, and repurchasing, but also how you honestly feel about the product after you've completely used it up. Or in my case for a couple of products, how long I could last using something I hated before I said, "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS CRAP PRODUCT" and add it to my empties bag just to rant about it to you guys :)

I'll link the video below here as usual, otherwise I hope you guys have been doing as wonderfully as I have been, and that life has been great for you guys now that spring is finally approaching! WHOOP WHOOP!

March Birchbox and Ipsy Bag!

Okay, sooo, I've been MIA for awhile now. I am so so sorry to anyone who keeps up with me on YouTube or on here! I've just been slacking I suppose.

Life has been crazy. I had a video go viral called the "Sad Packer Fan" last January, basically I video taped my sister who was crying hysterically after the Packers lost in a playoff game, and then on a whim I added it onto YouTube and it went viral the next day! Then got a message from VW this past January asking if they could use it a commercial. Well, ever since then, life has been busy. We got flown out to LA a couple weeks later, filmed a Volkswagen commercial and then it was aired before the Superbowl game. CRAZY. Anyways, then after all of that happened I met an amazing new fella who I haven't been able to be apart from since I met him. Life has just been really good lately and I haven't had a day like today where I can just sit in front of my laptop, write a blog post and edit a video. I'm very, very sorry. I will try to get better with this!

So! Back to beauty. Because, beauty is life, right? ;)

I got my Birchbox for this month, even though I slacked with last months, I thought no matter what, I'm filming a video for this months subscriptions. 

I have to say, Birchbox blew me away this month. I enjoyed Ipsy as well, but wow. The expensive, deluxe sized products it has were just awesome.

I didn't take pictures of each item like I have in the past but I'll include the video I made on the products I got so you guys can see what I got.

Totally loving everything I got this month, way to go Ipsy and Birchbox!!!

Drugstore & MAC Haul!

It's about that time for another haul video! WOOO HOOOO CREDIT CARD DEBT!

I have acquired a lot of new stuff from the drugstore and such over the past couple of weeks, so I thought I would sit down and show you guys what I got that I am LOVING! Watch the video here of everything!:

Okay so I heard a lot about Milani's Liquif'eye Eye Pencil in Black, I also heard a lot about Rimmel's Scandaleyes, so I thought I'd get both and show you how similar they are to each other.

The top swatch is Milani and below that is Rimmel. They look pretty exact to me, same size and everything, just Rimmel has a little nicer of a price on theirs. 

I ended up just returning the Rimmel one and keeping the Milani, so far I've used it a couple of times and it is pretty comparable to the Urban Decay 24/7 Liners! Which makes me and my wallet happy ;)

The bottom swatch is of the Rimmel Scandaleyes in Sparkling Black which is what I decided to keep instead of the Rimmel Scandaleyes in black.

I heard a ton about the L'Oreal Infallible Liner in Navy as well, and I can see why. It swatched so dark and smoothly. I can't wait to try this liner out in some future looks and I've heard navy eyeliner is the new fashion trend thing year!

I finally caved and also got the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny. Lots of gurus talk about how amazing this bronzer is, and for $2.99, I just couldn't turn it down at Target this time.

I like it a lot so far, I know some people complain about it looking at little orange from time to time, but if you use a light hand, I think it can look quite pretty.

Then the last, and most beautiful swatch of this blog post, the ever so talked about (with good reason), L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadows.

Starting from left to right: Midnight Blue, Perpetual Purple, and Iced Latte.

My camera doesn't even do these colors justice, I am just obsessed with them and am trying not to buy them all.

Actually, I just added Golden Emerald to my collection last night, grrr. Damn you L'Oreal!!

What I Got For Christmas! & A Hauliday ;)

I hope you all had an amazing holiday!

On my Twitter and Instagram, which is @meganlewis11 and meganlewis11, I got a ton of requests to do a "What I got for Christmas" video so I put everything I got in a big garbage bag and didn't touch ANYTHING until I had the chance to sit down and film this video!!!

So, I hope you guys enjoy this video, I'm not bragging by any means, I'm just sharing what my generous family got me. I am so blessed to have the people that I do in my life, and it was sooo fun seeing them open the gifts I got them!

My 2012 Influenster Holiday Box!

I recently heard one of my friends talking about Influenster, so I signed up for it, gave my thoughts on a couple of products on the site, and about a month later I got an email that I was getting the Holiday 2012 Influenster Box!!

I was so excited!

Then it showed up on my porch, I opened it, and was so surprised at how awesome it was for FREE!

Yes. You get it for free, always.

All it is, is a site where you review products, kind of like makeupalley.com, except you get free stuff in return for doing it. So my interests were beauty and they know I'm a blogger. So after you get this, it is "suggested" you review it. I didn't know if I would, but I was blown away at how awesome it was.
